Ho Chi Minh City will let off fireworks in two places to welcome the coming New Year.
Under a decision signed recently by Deputy PM, the 15-minute fireworks display will light up Thu Thiem tunnel in District 2 and Dam Sen (Lotus) Park in District 11 on New Year’s Eve.
On the occasion, HCM City will also hold various activities, including flower streets, traditional cake festival, doorshows, and music and dance performances. The city’s pedestrian-friendly streets will be spruced up with special decorations.
